At arrival in Delhi, group will be transferred to hotel for check in at airport hotel for one night. Next day we will transfer to Paro, Bhutan. After incredible experiences in Bhutan, we will have a few days of the wonders of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal.

• In Paro, we will walk (see below) together at a conservative pace to reach the first beautiful vantage point with views of the iconic, purely majestic TIGER'S NEST (shown above.)

*On the group hike to the first vantage point to see Tiger's Nest, we will gradually hike at higher elevations than most have not experienced. The ascent is two hours at a modest pace and the descent is one hour, with stops for water and lunch. At arrival in Delhi, group will be greeted at airport. Our bird watching and cultural activities will begin. We will depart for Paro, Bhutan and the birding and cultural adventure will begin. Explore and experience the wonders of  Bhutan for several days.

Bhutan is home to some of the rarest birds in the world. In Bhutan, we will have several amazing adventures, particularly birding and adding to your Birding Life List.  Avifauna of Bhutan includes about 747 species.

We will search for Himalayan birds around the Paro River and other warm river valleys:

We will explore major landmarks in Delhi before making our way to Kanha National Park, then to Bandhavgarh National Park, sites in Agra and the Taj Mahal at dawn, with a big surprise visit, and then back to Delhi for your last night.  Great accommodations in or near national parks and rest of tour.
